I have completed another few shoots, but haven't put them all up. Images may be seen on the sessions link above which is continually updated with new photos.
On another note, I've been working on a series of tutorials to help you become a better photographer; these lessons may be found at Taking Better Photos and are an updated series to help you understand the ins and outs of photography with elements such as white balance, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and so on. This series will continually be updated so check back from time to time.

Did you know that you can 'like' Backroads Photography on Facebook? If you haven't already, I'd love it if you did...oh, and tell your friends.

I thought that it might be nice to mention a feature I've added to my blog recently titled Weekly Kodachrome where I post a photo I've taken in the past seven days that I particular like. I'd love it if you'd add a link to a photo you've taken during the last week that makes you smile, too.

Ah, the woes of having far too many websites as well as working a job...something has to suffer in the end. Unfortunately, it usually turns out to be this site. I've been terrible at updating my most recent shoots on this page, for that I apologize; however, just know that the galleries are continually updated.
For one of my sessions I decided to break out of my usual style and mold. I did a shoot with themed toward Where the Wild Things Are. I really should have read the book right before the shoot; if I'd done so, I might have done a few of the shots a bit more differently, but I'm pleased with the overall result which brought this little boy's mom practically into tears.
In the same vein, I did another shoot geared toward Superheroes which - again - is not my usual style of photography, but was a lot of fun and the boys involved really enjoyed themselves. I most certainly know that I had a lot of fun with the shoot.
With the onset of graduation I had the opportunity to do quite a few sets of senior photo sessions. I have not posted all of the sessions I've taken part in, but here are those from Audrey, Jake, and Allen.
All photoshoots that I have uploaded may be viewed here.
